When reading does not come easily for a child we begin to look for other ways to teach this vital skill. I found the OpenDyslexic font while trying to find a way to teach my grandson to read. He is reading with more confidence, skipping less lines of text and enjoying the experience for the first time. I have typed up some stories in this font and am sharing them with you in hopes that your child will also receive the benefits and learn to READ!
These are not power points. I have printed each story and put them in a binder. He reads and rereads the stories nightly to increase speed and fluency.
